We are witnessing the emerging information age revolution, which is changing societies all over the world. It changes the manufacturing and service industries. It changes the way companies do business. It changes the way people communicate and access information. It is also changing government itself: its organization, its relations with its citizens, as well as with its international counterparts. Building an electronic government initiative allows a government to revitalize its infrastructure and practices by enhancing capability, and reducing cost burdens.
